Jim and Lynna Woolsey are a couple from the Patoka Valley of Indiana who have been performing together for more than thirty years. Jim (guitar) and Lynna (vocals) are joined on this project by Mike Curtis (resonator guitar) and Dave Foster (bass). Rounding out the session is Clay Hess (guitar), along with guests Randy Kohrs (resonator guitar), Mike Sumner (banjo), Mark Fain (bass), and Tim Crouch (fiddle, mandolin).

They’ve received a number of awards for their songwriting, including “Long Ago” at the 2018 Circa Blue Songwriting Contest and “Sugar Ridge Road” at the 2019 MerleFest Songwriting Contest. This new project contains not only those two songs, but also other original tunes from the Woolseys including “Cradle To The Grave Blues.” “Long Journey Home,” “Lovin’ You,” “Without You,” “Growing Up Takes Time,” and “Livin’ The Way It Used To Be.” This is a collection of great songs performed by Jim and Lynna’s pleasant vocals and backed by great musicians they chose to help out on this project.
