WOOLSLEYJIM AND LYNNA WOOLSEY
HEART AND SOUL, BLOOD AND BONE!!!

Broken Record Records
BRR1002

This is a collection of excellent tunes from the Woolseys of southwestern Indiana. The songs are mostly written or co-written by Jim and/or Lynna along with other collaborators such as Craig Market, John Pennell, Kerry Phillips, and Nancy Beaudette. These compositions are yet another sampling of great songwriting mixed with good arrangements. The project also features a few guest harmony vocals from Jim Lauderdale, Craig Market, and John and Jeremy Chapman.

The band is James Woolsey (guitar, vocals), Lynna Woolsey (vocals), Randy Kohrs (resonator guitar), Mike Summers (banjo), Mark Fain (bass), and Tim Crouch (fiddle & mandolin). Selections include “Time,” “Just Like Me,” “Give Me Back Tomorrow,” “Notes From Home,” “Pike County Blues,” “Freedom,” “Lights Of Home,” and the title “Heart And Soul, Blood And Bone.” Jim and Lynna have, again, shown how good songwriting, good music, and good presentation can make for a really nice project.
