Dobro Back Up – Part 1

In this video Dan Miller discusses an overall approach to accompaniment in a bluegrass band and the Dobro’s part in that mix. He then demonstrates various techniques and patterns that a Dobro player can use to provide a “chunk” rhythm (muted back beat). In Part 2 he will discuss using rolls in Dobro back up. Part 3 will demonstrate a variety of fill-licks.
