Creating a Solo Mandolin Lesson Number 1

In this video Dan Miller demonstrates how to take a simple melody-using the song “When The Saints Go Marching In” as the example-and create a mandolin solo by using chordal strums, major pentatonic scale notes, and scale runs to fill in between the melody notes.
