Arpeggios on the Banjo
This video lesson is the third in a series where Tim May explains and demonstrates what he calls “The Big Four.” These are four aspects of note selections available to the musician that include: scales, folded scales, arpeggios, and harmonized scales. In the first video he demonstrated several ways of playing scales on the banjo. In the second video he demonstrates how to “fold” those scales. Here, he demonstrates playing arpeggios on the banjo with a variety of right hand rolls, and then explains and demonstrates chord inversions that are commonly used on the banjo.
