Little Songs

Rrinaco is a nickname that singer-songwriter Corrina Rose Logston Stephens acquired while in middle school in the 1990s. Growing up in Missouri, Stephens spent time listening to music, learning the fiddle, singing, and enhancing her efforts as a songwriter. She played and jammed locally with her parents and other artists.

Now living in Nashville, Tennessee, she has spent time as a member of the band High Fidelity and also performing with her husband and playing partner, Jeremy Stephens. On this new project, Stephens is joined by husband Jeremy (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, vocals), along with Casey Campbell (mandolin), P.J. George (upright bass, piano), Kevin Buchanan (percussion), and Doug Jernigan (pedal steel guitar). Her songs are featured here and display her affinity for folk-flavored, honest, and somewhat wistful presentations and include such titles as “Enough of This Way,” “I Have Changed,” “Introvert Me,” “Mouse Inside (Tinnitus),” “Not That Bad,” “Asbestos,” “Get Along Somehow,” “Elephant in the Room,” and “Uncomfortable (The Turn Signal).” Stephens has a really nice voice, which matches her songs, and the backing musicians make this a very pleasant new project.
