“Bully of the Town” on Guitar – Part 3
In part 1 of this lesson, Dan Miller demonstrated playing the melody of the tune “Bully of the Town” on guitar. In Part 2, he took that melody and demonstrated how you might use techniques such as chord strums, tremolo, neighboring notes, double stops, toggle notes and cross picking to enhance the melody of the A part of the tune in an effort to create your own solo. In this video, Part 3, he demonstrates how you might use a variety of scale runs to embellish the melody of the A part of the tune.
