Earlier this summer, the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum collaborated with Billy Strings to create a pop-up store in its gift shop.  The museum collaborated with the artist’s team to create a unique display that features Billy Strings merchandise which includes apparel, vinyl records, and CDs.  The museum store is located near the entry to the museum exhibit space and contains bluegrass-related items along with Hall of Fame branded merchandise.  The pop-up store is an effort to keep the store space fresh and engage visitors by highlighting the current IBMA Entertainer of the Year.  “The Hall of Fame has a long history with Billy Strings.  He’s played our festival, ROMP, four times in addition to a performance at the museum years ago.  With his reach, we thought it would be a great way to connect with new fans of the bluegrass genre.  The response from visitors has been exciting to see, and we love the idea of working directly with an artist,” commented Chris Joslin.

The merchandise space was created to reflect Strings’ latest album Me / And / Dad.  Visitors can expect to see some of his latest apparel, along with other unique items.  Aside from his online store and tour, the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum is the only brick and mortar location selling these items.  As new merchandise is released, the Hall of Fame will update the offerings available to the public.

While the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum honors the history of bluegrass music, it strives to keep the spotlight on the work of current artists.  Plan your trip today to explore bluegrass music history, enjoy a concert, and learn about all the new things happening within the genre.
