Harmonized Scales on the Banjo

This video lesson is the fourth in a series where Tim May explains and demonstrates what he calls “The Big Four.” These are four aspects of note selections available to the musician that include: scales, folded scales, arpeggios, and harmonized scales. In the first video he demonstrated several ways of playing scales on the banjo. In the second video he demonstrates how to “fold” those scales. In the third video, he shows how to play arpeggios on the banjo with a variety of right hand rolls. Here he explains and demonstrates harmonized scales.
