Tim May Mandolin Solos Part 1

This is the first of a two-part video lesson where Tim May teaches you how to develop creative solos on the mandolin. He first teaches the melody to “She’ll Be Coming Around The Mountain”. He will then run through a variety of techniques that you can use to embellish that melody. In this first video he will teach you how to use Tremolo, Slides, Hammer-ons, and Pull-offs, Drone Notes, Neighboring Notes, and Crosspicking. In the next video he will add more techniques to your repertoire.
